Founder & Chairman of Mumbai Kidney Foundation. He has been Awarded “Dronacharya Award” for teaching in nephrology. Secretary of Amar Gandhi Foundation and IMA National Chairman for CKD prevention cell. Also he is a Trustee of Sapiens Health Foundation, COREP Trust. Pioneer in satellite dialysis centers in Mumbai.
Dr. Keyur Dave, a Nephrologist/Renal Specialist based in Mumbai, brings a decade of experience to his practice. He obtained his MBBS degree from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College. Following this, he completed his MD in General Medicine at Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. Dr. Dave further specialized in Nephrology, earning his DNB from the National Board Of Examination at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai.
With degrees like DNB Nephrology, MRCP, SCE (UK), and FASN (USA), he boasts of a strong educational background. He is a strong promoter of Organ Donation, has given numerous lectures in creating awarness and has been instrumental in establishing the only Kidney Transplant unit betwen Mira Road to Andheri at Namaha Hospital, Kandivali. He holds Specialised Fellowships in Glomerular Diseases and Nephropathology ensuring in depth knowledge of finer aspects of these kidney diseases. Known for his prolific contributions, he has numerous national and international publications and presentations. He further enhanced his expertise through an ISN ANIO Nephropathology fellowship in Canada. Specializing in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and renal transplantation, Dr. Mody's proficiency encompasses acute kidney injury management, chronic kidney diseases, and transplant immunology. His extensive experience also extends to vascular access placement, renal pathology, and interpreting renal biopsies. Committed to advancing nephrology, Dr. Mody actively engages in research, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach programs, especially in rural areas of Maharashtra, India.
